This policy explains what information Late Night Crew (“we,” “us,” “the site”) collects when you visit latenightcrew.net, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

What We Collect
Comments. When you leave a comment, we collect the content of the comment plus your IP address and browser user-agent string, to help with spam detection. Your name, email address, and website (if provided) may be stored in a cookie so you don’t have to re-enter them on your next comment. These cookies last one year. An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you use it, and if so, your comment may display a profile picture from Gravatar, subject to Gravatar’s own privacy policy.
Media. If you upload images to the site, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included, as visitors can download and extract that data.
Embedded content. Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. YouTube videos). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you visited the third-party site directly — it may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged into that site. We don’t control this behavior; it’s governed by that service’s own privacy policy (for embedded YouTube content, Google’s).
Newsletter sign-up. If you sign up for our newsletter using Google Reader Revenue Manager, you may share your email address with us through your Google account, subject to Google’s own privacy terms. We use this solely to send you site updates and do not sell or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
Analytics. We use aggregate, non-personally-identifying analytics tools to understand overall site traffic and performance.
Advertising. This site may display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings.
Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared with the third-party services named above (Gravatar, YouTube/Google, Google AdSense, Google Reader Revenue Manager) strictly as needed for those features to function, subject to each service’s own privacy policy.
How Long We Retain Data
Comment content and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically, rather than holding every comment for manual moderation. If you have an account on this site (if applicable), the personal information you provide is stored in your user profile; you can view, edit, or delete that information at any time (except your username).
Your Rights
If you left a comment on this site, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, or request that we erase it. This does not include data we’re obligated to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
