The issue is not whether Lyric’s current read is correct.
The issue is whether Melody and Mallory can trust it to remain her read after she survives.
Lyric’s game has reached the point where truth and campaigning sound identical.
That is the cost of changing stories too often.
Mallory Learns She Is Becoming the Red Corner’s Next Target
Mallory told Melody that Chuk and Kamu now viewed her as their primary target.
According to Mallory’s retelling, Lyric warned her that Chuk had already “dug her grave” and that Mallory might need to win every competition to remain safe.
That information explains why Mallory is increasingly willing to rebuild with Lyric despite Lyric campaigning against her.
